She tailors her counseling approach from a base of person-centered therapy, combined with several elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-based Counseling.
From Jackie’s point of view, “Prioritizing your mental health is one of the greatest things you can do for yourself. It is my hope that in a safe, collaborative space, we can create a therapeutic relationship based on mutual trust and respect, exploring your thoughts, emotions, and personal strengths to overcome adversity. While progress is not always linear, I will be there by your side and do what I can to help you flourish.
“With my concentration in Military & Veterans Counseling, I am also dedicated to helping all members of the military community combat any challenges you encounter connected to the military lifestyle. Ultimately, I am truly passionate about empowering each of my clients, military or civilian, to thrive.”
Jackie brings outpatient mental health experience working with teen and adult clients from various backgrounds seeking support for issues including gender dysphoria, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma. She also works in the customer service field, heightening her appreciation of and ability to create positive and supportive connection with a broad array of people.
