Counseling Practicum Student

Whether we’re exploring emotions, unpacking patterns, or building new skills, I aim to help you feel seen, supported, and capable of growth. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you reconnect with your strengths, your voice, and your sense of possibility. Therapy is a dedicated space to understand yourself more deeply, process what you’ve been carrying, and learn healthier ways to navigate life. It’s not only for moments of crisis—therapy is for anyone who wants support, clarity, or change.

Who I Help

I provide counseling for individuals ages 4 and up, in person, throughout Virginia. I work with clients navigating experiences such as:

  • Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
  • Depression and low mood
  • Life transitions and identity development
  • Self-esteem, confidence, and self-worth
  • Emotional regulation and coping skills
  • Trauma-related stress and resilience
  • Performance pressure (academic, athletic, military, or professional)
  • Relationship concerns and communication patterns
  • Burnout, compassion fatigue, and high-achiever stress
  • Child and adolescent emotional development
  • Navigating family, school, or peer challenges

What Therapy Feels Like With Me

Therapy with me is collaborative, steady, and deeply human. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to perform, impress, or hold everything together. You get to show up exactly as you are—curious, overwhelmed, hopeful, unsure, or anything in between. Clients often describe my style as:

  • Warm and grounding: I bring calm, presence, and genuine interest in who you are.
  • Curious, not judgmental: I ask thoughtful questions to help you understand your inner world.
  • Strength-focused: I help you notice what’s working, not just what’s hurting.
  • Practical and supportive: When helpful, I offer tools for coping, emotional regulation, and navigating stress.
  • Empowering: I believe you are the expert on your own life; I’m here to walk alongside you, not ahead of you.
