Licensed Resident in Counseling

If you’ve found your way here it may be because something in your life feels difficult, overwhelming, or hard to carry alone. Reaching out takes tremendous courage. You deserve a space where you can explore your experiences and feel supported as you navigate your journey. I believe counseling is a deeply collaborative and meaningful process. It is an honor to walk alongside you as you explore your experiences, strengthen your sense of self, and move toward a life that feels fulfilling. My intention is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected, where you can show up as you are without pressure to have everything figured out.

Who I help

I provide a soft landing for individuals ages 10 and up in person and online who are seeking greater understanding, relief, or growth within experiences such as:

  • Self esteem struggles and difficulty trusting/loving yourself
  • Life transitions and identity exploration
  • Boundary challenges, codependency, and relationship stress
  • Emotional overwhelm and difficulty regulating feelings
  • Trauma, grief, and disordered eating patterns
  • Anxiety, depression, OCD, and persistent worry

Many of the individuals I work with are thoughtful and capable yet find themselves feeling caught in patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we explore these patterns while building confidence in who you are becoming.

What therapy feels like with me

Clients often describe our work together as warm, reflective, and encouraging. I value curiosity, authenticity, and collaboration. In sessions, we may explore your story, notice patterns, process emotions, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful change. You are the expert on your life. My role is to support and guide you as you reconnect with your strengths, deepen self understanding, and create movement toward what matters most.

Background

I earned my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and bring over 18 years of experience across healthcare and mental health settings. This background informs my holistic, culturally responsive, and compassionate approach to care. Christian counseling is available upon request.

If you are considering therapy, reaching out can feel like the hardest step. Please remember, you are worthy of support, understanding, and care. If you feel drawn to reach out, I will be here.
