Jasmine is a Licensed Resident in Counseling in Virginia. Her love of the field is driven by a special passion for making therapy a meaningful journey of self-discovery and being user-friendly for everyone in today’s busy world.

Jasmine works exclusively online with individuals aged 16 and up. She supports clients seeking assistance with career counseling, life transitions, stress management, military life, LGBTQIA+ support, healthy relationship building, family-related concerns, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and autism. Jasmine’s foundational approach blends Solution-Focused Brief therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with Person-Centered therapy perspectives and techniques.

I offer a judgment-free space, person-centered care, and a safe space to be comfortable with oneself. I encourage my clients to seek change and fulfillment in their lives.”

Educational Background

Jasmine earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a B.A. in Psychology from New Jersey City University. She continues her ongoing professional training under direct clinical supervision from Free Spirit owner and Clinical Director, Dr. Jill Nardin, PhD, LPC.

Professional Experience

Jasmine brings over five years of valuable experience serving a wide variety of people with diverse support needs at both private practice and outpatient settings. She also previously worked in neurofeedback and has insight into how this treatment could be used in collaboration with therapy. This broad range of experience fuels her desire and gives her the tools to serve a great deal of people across the lifespan.

  • She loves to spend her free time reading, cooking, baking, and singing (especially while in the shower).
  • She really loves her husband, family, and two cats (two tabbies) and two dogs (German Shepard and Chiweenie)!

As a Licensed Resident in Counseling, Jasmine is in-network with Cigna/Evernorth commercial insurance and the following Medicaid Plans: Aetna Better Health, Anthem Healthkeepers+, Sentara Health Family and Community Plans (formerly Optima/VA Premier), and United Healthcare Community Plan; processing for Molina. She is also able to see other non-Medicaid clients for a sliding scale, negotiable fee.
