LaToya is a Licensed Professional Counselor, an approved clinical supervisor, and a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider in Virginia. She is passionate about seeing transformation in the hearts and minds of others as they regain hope and their struggles become their steppingstones into a new way of living.
Clinical Focus Areas
LaToya works online with individuals aged 16 and up, as well as couples. She supports clients seeking assistance with areas such as: porn addiction, sexually harmful behaviors, anxiety, premarital counseling, relationship issues, stress management, life transitions, young adult life, military life, trauma support, grief/loss, women’s issues, and self-esteem.
LaToya utilizes a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques mixed with Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing skills to identify triggers, create healthy boundaries for relationships, and learn coping strategies to regain self- confidence. Additionally, she can provide Christian Counseling upon request.

LaToya has over seven years of varied counseling experience to include individual, group, family, and couples therapy. She enjoyed the privilege of serving teen boys and their families as Clinical Manager at a group home, providing clinical care to youth and families across Hampton Roads through intensive in-home services. She later gained more counseling experience as an outpatient therapist at multiple practices.
LaToya earned her B.S. in Psychology from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. She completed her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. She also has additional education in Clinical Supervision and specific training to work with Sex Offenders.

She is out -of-network approved for Tricare, allowing her to serve retired service members, reservists, and Active Duty family members (with an authorization from their PCM).
