Lili is completing her Practicum in Counseling in pursuit of her M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William and Mary. She also earned her B.S. in Psychological Sciences and Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary. She is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming space for people to discover their inner strengths and to achieve their goals.

Clinical Focus Areas & Counseling Approach

Lili provides in person focused (Yorktown location) and online therapy for individuals (aged 10 and up). She speaks English and Spanish. She works with clients seeking support with life transitions, personal growth, self-esteem, stress, healthy boundaries, emotion regulation, anxiety, depression, and more. Her counseling approach combines a foundation of human-centered therapy and strengths-based focus with elements of positive psychology, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Professional Philosophy

From her perspective: “I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most defining aspect your counseling experience. Because of this, I emphasize collaboration, honesty, and kindness throughout the journey, so you feel heard and supported as you explore and pursue your goals. I understand life can bring obstacles.  Counseling empowers you to identify your own strengths, skills, support systems, and resources to overcome these and to grow.”

Professional Experience

Lili brings experience working in a psychology research lab exploring parental warmth and emotion regulation. Additionally, she served as a volunteer at fundraising events for the visually impaired and as a companion for those experiencing loneliness during troubling times. From these experiences serving along alongside others in need, she brings both dedication and perseverance to the support she provides to a wide variety of clients across the lifespan.
